Tossed in the Sauce

Sometimes, struggle can make the juice worth the squeeze, and when you're faced with opposition, that's where the greatest opportunities lie.

It's funny how life can deliver timely reminders. As I was returning from a broken ankle that happened right as summer was kicking off, Mother Nature gave us a run for our money with what people call an atmospheric river. It wasn't easy, but with all the trials and tribulations it made the juice that bit sweeter.

When people think of Squamish, they think of its lush green forests and pristine loam. I know that's what drew me in. We have endless forests with such varying terrain, whether steep slabs and granite is your thing or endless corridors of perfect trail, we've got it all. I'm so lucky to call this place and its trails home, and in this video, I wanted to showcase just why it's so special to me.

Riding trails is one thing, digging them is another. As I've progressed as a rider, my love for building has grown alongside. I enjoy the art of having a vision no matter how ambitious it seems to be. It’s like going to the gym, but instead, you not only have a sick feature, but you develop back issues as a bonus.

I wanted to say a big thank you to all the trail builders and the people who have helped move dirt for this project.
